Chick Magnet

New Chicks are here! The Breed is Buff Orpingtons they are gentle giants suposed to be cold weather hardy and lay lots of big brown eggs.
One reason they are good in the cold is that they have very dense feathering which is already in evidence.
Once they grow up a little they will join the laying flock next door.

So that is how you pick up chicks!

The B.O.'s will make a nice addition to the flock. I really like the Hoop Coop and am impressed at your construction skills. My feeble attempts at coop construction have been pretty crude. You won't find me posting any pictures of those!

By the way,

Where's the Beef?

Pig's Out!

I can get you a good deal on some goats...

Mark,
I'm behind the times but just finished looking through your recent posts. You've done a great job on the chicks living quarters and the garden looks awesome! I find with the pups that I don't have the computer play time I had in past. Hope your summer has gone well and wanted you to know that I enjoyed your posts.
