Back Country Trail

Out early on Saturday headed south on the Northway, destination the Adirondack Park. As late summer begins its transition into early fall the mountians and lakes begin to call and its time once again to strap on the hiking boots and spend some special time in this beautiful place. This year you are invited to share its beauty with me as I will try to capture and record some of the trips.

Great videos! Nice to see the bush crafts in action. Hope we still some still photos!

Man that water looks cool and inviting. I thought I saw some mayfly nymphs along the edge just breaking out of their husk and about to hatch off....

Great video and narration. I'm trying to get the other one to play but no luck yet. My interest is piqued!

That's some serious hiking. I guess you don't have to worry about crowded trails.

Mark,
That's nothin!! I once hiked to an area that was so thick that I had to tunnel in under ground. It was so hot there that I was able to cook frozen hamburger on a rock in the shade. It was in December. Seriously though it looks like you found a beautiful spot to spend some late summer days. The videos are a nice touch.
