Road Trip

We traveled out of area to meet up with Faith and Charles who are on vacation in western New York. We had a great time catching up with them and of course took a few pictures along the way!

Decisions- Decisions

We reluctantly surrendered our cameras!
Wind Turbines stand in sharp contrast to an otherwise rural setting.

Many people stand in oposition to this alternative energy source because of the visual impact on the landscape. What do you think???

Why don't you join me on my walk and share with me some of what experienced today.

Kind of gives meaning to the term "Good Morning"

Seeing Red

Starting to show some color in a few places already, this scene had at least three different shades of red in the same frame!

The red and yellow combination really works for me.
Everyone is trying to get in on the act.

It's not all red and orange yet, these beauties can still compete in the pagent.

Roaming in the Gloaming

Gloaming
the time of day immediately following sunset; "he loved the twilight"; "they finished before the fall of night" [syn: twilight]

Somewhere between daylight and darkness exist that brief but magic time we call the Gloamin.

Change of Season

According to the calendar The first official day of autumn is at least a week away. Where I live, labor day weekend is a time of transition from late summer into early fall.
Color's begin to change along with the season.
Nuts and berries begin to ripen and fall.
Birds and animals sense the change and become more active.

Its a great time to enjoy the outdoors, I"m glad to be able to share some of this seasons moments with you.

A feast for the eyes

One of the nicest things about September is seeing the wild grapes in our region turn this deep purple as they ripen.

I still remember how that grape jelly tasted, and I know some of you do too.

Fall Frolic

Every year we get to enjoy this local display of the fall season.

Thanks to everyone who's hard work and imagination made this possible.
