Looks like you are whipping that bad boy into shape.

I really like the detail on the grosbeak - you can see each feather!

I think my favorite setting is the fast shutter which freezes the motion of the flying geese.

I enjoy the way you can find color when not much color is present. I agree with John in reference to the high shutter speed. Great shots!

So what is the proper setting? I like the way the background is blurred on the first shot of the grosbeak, but the the bird is clearly in focus.
