Marsh Mellow

The Marsh is always an interesting place to be, even in the dog days of August it presents opportunitys to those who are patient.

I find there is nothing quite like a pterodactyl to get your attention.

Thats a wind turbine in the background.

Wow! What a collection. Phil likes the cattail with the dragonfly. I like the brown-eyed susans with the wind turbine. They are all great in their own way!

The hard part about photographing a butterfly is timing the shot just right to catch the wings open. Have you ever tried a hummingbird? I haven't had much luck with that yet, but I'll keep trying.
